After finishing my virtual trek in Mexican Mayan country - a 150-plus km challenge - I've begun my next one - the Camino de Santiago. As it's more than 700 km long, I expect it will take me all summer to achieve.
The scenery (on Google map street view) is more varied on this virtual trek.
After walking only 1 km from the start, I was already out in the countryside. I plan to pause often to update my distance on the map and look around.
I'm really enjoying the lovely scenery.
Both the view of the spot (as seen on google street view) and a map of the terrain make the virtual walk very interesting!
