Ottawa's Temporarily Quiet Market Area

Ottawa's historic market area is unusually quiet these days, with restaurants and cafes closed unless they offer a take-out menu

Terry and I still enjoy taking walks around this part of town...

The weather has been cool, so we've been wearing warm coats and hats when we go out.

Street parking is easier to find...

This parking garage was almost empty - but parking wasn't free! (So glad someone still has a sense of humor!)

We did manage to find a French bakery that was offering curb-side service - so Terry was able to satisfy his craving for almond croissants and fresh sourdough bread without having to order days in advance.
