A few days ago, I mentioned that Terry had not seen the groundhogs in a few days.
In early spring we noticed that they had a nest under our front shed.
I was anxious for him to seal up the two openings under the front shed, but he waited...
I want to make sure they're really gone, he said.
Then, a few days later, I pointed out a new animal we hadn't seen before in the yard...
a skunk! (I didn't know some had
two white stripes!)
We watched carefully to see where he was heading...
And sure enough, he went straight to our newly vacated shed... and into the hole!
Now we're back to square one: Research into how to get rid of skunks!
