There are many signs of spring in our neighborhood...
Removal of our winter car shelter is a big one. Then comes spring raking...
Another sign that spring has arrived is the removal of the dome that covers the nearby college soccer field all winter long.
It lies like a sleeping white elephant on the edge of our neighborhood, blocking our western view...
Removing it (like putting it up in fall) requires many helping hands...
(I think the college's soccer players are conscripted to do it!)
Then the component parts - like the doorway - need to be hoisted up and moved to a storage shed.
For us, it's an interesting process to watch!
Once the dome is gone, we feel that spring is here at last!
