The squirrels in our yard are always on the go. Unlike the rabbits we see from time to time, squirrels rarely take it easy.
But occasionally, we do see them relaxing on a fence post - or on the roof of our shed - basking in the rays of the sun.
This may not be the squirrel who has made the hollow space under the shed into his private food storage area, filling it with pine cones and nuts.
He may also not be the animal who is trying to chew an opening under the shed door...
I really can't prove it's him... But, relaxing there so comfortably, his body language tells me: I'm the king of the castle. This shed belongs to me!
