Doors Open at St. Paul University Library

Terry and I originally moved to Ottawa from Montreal - quite a few years ago now - so that Terry could do his Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling at St. Paul University.
.
We don't get back on campus very often these days, though one of our favorite vegetarian restaurants overlooks the campus.

The university library - with its antique book collection - was open to the public during the Doors Open weekend, so Terry and I wandered over.

So glad we did!

It was really fascinating!

There were books that were gifts from the Vatican collection...

... and some antique replicas.

A memorable fun fact we discovered was that "book worms" actually do exist in some old books...

These book worms aren't people who love to read, but worms that live in some old books and devour them!

I had no idea!!
