First Snow...

A week ago we woke up to discover that it had snowed overnight...

Were my days of outdoor walking over for the season?!

I hoped not! Since I started my brisk walking program in September - 45 minutes a day - my early morning blood sugar readings have dropped from the 9s and 10s to 7s and 8s. I'm aiming for 6s.





Fortunately the snow did melt... But it was a stark reminder that winter will surely come. Time to do my Christmas shopping AND prepare for indoor walking... (In malls perhaps?)

Time to get out my DVDs and DVD player to ease the boredom of pedaling for 45 minutes on a stationary exercise bike!
