Visiting a Local Cheese Factory

On our way back from Montreal, we took a small detour and visited a cheese factory we had never been to.

The original factory burned down a few years ago, but it has since been rebuilt.

It reminded me of the Hershey Chocolate Factory that used to be a favorite family destination when our children were young. (It closed down a few years ago.) It also has an upper level with windows where visitors can watch the cheese being made.

(Unlike the Hershey factory, there are no free samples!)

We had lunch in their spacious cafeteria, then shopped for some cheese to bring home.
