Second Basket Weave Crochet Project

I discovered basket weave crocheting a few weeks ago - and have been anxious to make something using this interesting stitch. I started a wool scarf for my daughter - but decided she should see if she likes it before I finish it up.

In the meantime, I've gathered scraps of yarn together and plan to use up as much as I can making an afghan... (You can never have too many of those? Right?!)

It's always nice to have something to work on that can be picked up and put down with ease!

(If my daughter decides she doesn't like the scarf, the yarn could be "re-purposed" into the afghan as well!)
