IMAX at Ottawa's Museum of Civilization

Terry loves trains! His fascination dates back to his childhood, when he lived near the railroad tracks in Lennoxville, Quebec, and used to watch the trains chug by.

So when we saw that an IMAX film about the building of the railroad through the Rockies was playing at Ottawa's Museum Civilization we had to go!

The museum (which is actually on the Quebec side of the river) has a number of native artifacts, like this giant statue of a jumping fish.

The museum is beautiful from every angle...

My favorite part is the Grand Hall...

...with its exhibit of totem poles from British Columbia.

It's well worth a visit!
