I recently came across this wonderful British book called The Gentle Art of Domesticity.
I loved the author's philosophy - you don't have to be a perfect quilter (or knitter or cook) to create lovely things. Her idea is just do it and enjoy it!
I love the exuberance of her colors...
...her designs....
...and her interesting fabric contrasts!
The book is so inspirational! It looks and feels as if she is really having fun!
