I didn't realize that we has doves in our part of Ontario until my neighbor Mary mentioned that she frequently saw a pair in her backyard.
To me doves were a rarity. But a few days ago, we started to see one - or 2 - in our yard as well.
This one seems to be looking for food in the cracks in our driveway.
Do they have a nest nearby as well? I'll have to keep my eyes open to find out.
