Another school year begins...
Looking back a year to September, 2024.
Then, September 2023... Jericho's first day of school... and catching the bus! So exciting!
Was this September 2022... or May 2022, when Ivy took the bus for the first time after moving here from Toronto?
I'm pretty sure this is Ivy, heading out to catch the school bus for the very first time, right after moving to Ottawa in May 2022. She had just turned 6! Those were the days of Covid... and wearing face masks, when we were in a crowd. (How quickly we forget!)
The following September, 2022, she was an old pro and knew all the kids on the bus route.
This was taken on "picture day" in October... She was in grade 1.
Jericho must have done some "grandma and grandpa daycare" here and there. I have this picture of him examining Grandma's succulents. What fun we had!
How time flies!!
