Terry and I haven't spent much time outdoors this past week... because of the heat.
But I'm glad to see that our back deck is being put to good use!
This neighborhood cat - a hunter of birds and mice - lives next door to our neighbors, Earl and Mary. I've never seen him lying around like this. But he shares a house with two dogs. Maybe he's relishing some time alone..
Uh, oh!! Did I ever get that wrong! He was lurking, waiting for prey... And now he's ready to pounce!
