Seeking Comfort...

I have been reading about the ergonomics of knitting, and, in the process, have learned about more than simply knitting! (Interesting how one thought leads to another!)

In defining ergonomics, author, Carson Demers, writes: Comfort is a benchmark for ergonomic success. No one likes to be in an uncomfortable environment. Whether the discomfort is physical, emotional, social, or psychological, we tend to move away from uncomfortable environments unless a competing priority keeps us there. I had never given much thought much to comfort being a motivator in life, but I guess it is!
