Barbecue Day

Fridays in summer are barbecue days at my mother's nursing home. We went over last week for what we thought would be the last. But the barbecues are so popular, they'll keep  running through September.

Everyone was having a good time! From this little dog who wanted to chase the squirrels...













... to grandchildren - here to visit Grandpa. Some were pushing each other around in grandpa's wheelchair! Others came to the pond to admire the fish.









As one toddler staggered by - just learning to walk - my mother commented: There's every age here today - from 1 to 100!

Much like a "family picnic"!
