In our part of Canada, December was ushered in with no snow on the ground... a rarity!
(Snow could happen at any time - which is why we have already put up the frame of our plastic winter "garage" - but Terry is waiting for a serious snow forecast to put on the cover.)
Our mild early December weather makes me want to work outdoors - perhaps putter around the flower beds - raking, cutting down dead growth, tasks I often leave till spring.
It might be an apt time to mention that - last month - I started a new blog - an "Ottawa weather" blog.
I plan to post regularly and do an annual cycle - updating the posts on their anniversary - so that weather on a certain date can be compared from year to year. (So there will never be more than 365 posts!)
So if you ever wonder what the weather is like in Ottawa on a certain day - you can simply check it out... And if you feel inspired, create one for your city... and pass the link on. I love to compare weather! (It's a very Canadian thing to do!)
