Now that the weather is cooler and most of my flowers have finished blooming, I have become a gardener again... as I prepare for next year...
Time to move plants (and compost)...
To create new garden spaces...
I try to add or move plants every year. Here is the hosta bed I started in a shady corner a year ago...
This year the cedar hedges were really overgrown, so we had to trim them back... (okay, Terry did that! I held the ladder and picked up the branches!)
After neglecting (but enjoying) the garden all summer, now comes the work of tidying things up.
Planning for next year is one of the most exciting parts of gardening for me!
