Looking back ... on my simple phenology calendar for September 2025 - I see that every day (except one!) was sunny.
One day, it did rain - revitalizing the grass and my Japanese anemones.
They're the only flowers currently in bloom.
The weather was perfect, though now, recent cold nights remind me to make provisions for indoor plants kept outdoors for the summer!
I don't want them to freeze!
