Ducks ... Looking For a Home?!

It’s that time of year when we occasionally see ducks waddling around in our neighborhood, looking perhaps, for a place to build their nest.

 Recently we saw them in our yard.

I don’t know exactly what constitutes good nesting ground in our neighborhood. A nearby field - now a Home Depot parking lot - used to have a stream running through it in spring. But no more...

We already have squirrels and chipmunks living in the trees around the house. Terry recently saw a groundhog emerge from under one of our sheds.

Neighbors have seen a pair of coyotes wandering around. Our neighbor Rob photographed them in his back yard.

I’m not sure the ducks would fare very well if they decided to build around here.
