Visiting Downtown St. Catherines

A few weeks ago, Terry and I, together with our daughter, visited downtown St. Catherines, Ontario.

It was the first time any of us had been there...

We usually just pass by on the highway...

But this time, we stopped in to visit the sewing and knitting shop of one of my daughter's friends.

We also walked around a bit...

I can see why St. Catherines is known as "garden city"!

Beautiful!

Life is so much more interesting, if - instead of just rushing down the highway - one takes time to stop and actually see what a town or city looks like!
