Exploring Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario

A few weeks ago, the weather was warm in southern-western Ontario, so Terry and I impulsively took a weekend trip there to visit our children.

One day we decided to explore Kitchener-Waterloo.

The day was sunny, but temperatures were cold.

We walked down King Street, pausing to listen to the bells chime in this gazebo...

I imagine that, in summer, there will be more outdoor activity...

We paused to admire the lovely old architecture...

Then stopped in at several coffee shops - hoping to find one that wasn't too busy.

Most were full of university students madly cramming for exams.

I'd like to come back again in summer - when the farmers market is open.
