X Marks the Spot

I was recently going through my green fabric bin, when I came across some squares I had made years ago. Could I make an interesting quilt with them?!

I let the thought "percolate" in my mind for a few days - and I came up with an idea: How about putting these X squares into an X shape, surrounded by plain fabric...?

So that's what I've been working on for the past few days...

Not sure how much will get done now that spending time outdoors is my new priority.
