A few weeks ago we took a day trip to Montreal...
It was a quick shopping expedition for our daughter, who was visiting from Toronto.
She had a list of shops she wanted to visit... some in Old Montreal, where we parked for the day in the science museum parking lot - then paused to admire the boxy apartments of "Habitat" across the river.
Built in 1967, they still look modern!
We also wandered around St. Laurent Boulevard (so that Terry could eat a smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz's Deli)...
There we encountered a street fair.
I noticed this mural of Leonard Cohen on a building nearby.
More shopping... and a quick coffee break.
Montreal! Always an interesting place to visit!
