Neighborhood Renewal

Last week, Terry and I drove to his favorite bakery in an older part of town, a neighborhood called Hintonburg. It's always a treat to go there for almond croissants and coffee.

Later on we wandered around the neighborhood, marveling at all the new restaurants that had recently moved in.









 

Urban renewal was taking place!

I could live here, Terry commented. It reminds me of a downtown Toronto neighborhood!

I like it, too, but we don't have to move here, I replied. We can come whenever we want... It's not that far away!

(Besides, we appreciate places more when visiting them is a treat!)
