Faces!

I read somewhere that babies are attracted to human faces. They stare them, imitating their expressions.

Moment by moment faces change.














My class in sculptured pottery has shown me that I too am drawn to faces! I never expected to derive so much pleasure from creating them.

It's so much fun to play around with the clay, molding it into a ball, adding a nose and eyes... and see suddenly see faces emerge - in their infinite variety of expressions.

The result is always a surprise!
