Occasionally, when we go to Toronto, we stay at the hotel attached to the Sky-dome.
When we do, Terry always asks for a room overlooking the stadium field.
He loves to watch a sporting event through the window - from the comfort of our hotel room.
(Sometimes he's even lucky enough to catch a pregame practice!)
For me, the fascination begins AFTER the game - when the stadium is transformed from one type of venue to another. Astroturf is rolled up and moved.
Sometimes a concert stage is put up.
Massive stage curtains are added.
Trucks arrive and unload.
The seating is rearranged - often some of the grandstands are moved!
For me, this "show" is more fascinating than any sporting event! I watch it, transfixed, like a spectator at a construction site in full operation!
