Visiting Ottawa's Art Lending Library

Ottawa has an art lending library - where paintings can be rented by the month (or simply purchased). The library is open two evenings a month.














If someone decides to buy a piece after renting it, the rental fee already paid is deducted from the purchase price, so it's a win-win situation.














Contributing artists bring different framed art every month, so no two exhibits are ever the same.














I loved a lot of pieces...

We have no wall space available, Terry reminded me, time and time again...














This month, Eileen Chang (a friend of my daughter's) was one of the new featured artists at the display... Eileen is a piano teacher who loves to draw and paint.














Friends dropped in to see her first public exhibit...
