Fresh Fruit Salad

When my children were young, to encourage them to eat fruit, I often cut up fresh fruit to make fruit salad.














There was often a container in the refrigerator. To keep the fruit from turning brown, I would mix in orange juice, even lemon juice or just plain yogurt. All were equally popular.


















Sometimes when I served it, I would sprinkle a little oatmeal or granola on top.














Now that our weather has (finally!) turned warmer, I decided to make it again for myself. There! A lovely bowl of fresh fruit... Delicious as a dessert or snack.

And if - after a day or two - some is left in the fridge - I add some water and cook it to make compote!
