Weeding, for me, often means ruthlessly pulling out the gout weed that I foolishly allowed to grow in new garden beds when I started them years ago...
Some years it means digging up dandelions - but this year Terry spread a new kind of fertilizer with corn gluten and I think it has made a difference.
Terry isn't so sure.
In any event, I haven't taken time to dig up any dandelions yet this year - but I have filled three or four large plastic garbage bins with gout weed - which, left unattended, grows tall, hiding many of my perennials, especially the low-lying ones.
I'd like to get out there daily for an hour or so...
It does make a difference!
