Trying to Reduce My Reading Pile of Unfinished Books...

Trying to reduce my reading pile of unfinished books, I resolved to finish two before allowing myself begin a new one.

Then came the automated message from the library telling me that a book I had put on hold was waiting for me to pick up...

I didn't expect it to be ready this soon!

Five others have a placed holds on this one - so I won't be able to renew it... I'd better start reading it now!

But I had planned NOT to start another book until I'd finished another!!

(Another reading resolution that didn't work!)
