There are a lot of lovely old neighborhoods in Ottawa, but one Terry and I often wander around is called the Glebe.
It has a combination of lovely old homes on tree-lined streets, with free parking...
And interesting small shops and restaurants on busy Bank Street, which runs through the middle of the neighborhood.
This combination makes the Glebe a desirable place to live and a fun place to shop...
But it's often the restaurants and cafes that draw us back again and again.
Our favorites are the Taj Mahal, with its great Indian food, and the Wild Oat, an organic bakery and cafe.
