Who was Mick E. Fynn?

When Terry was a child, their family had a dog named "Flag" and two cats named "Mickey Finn"...

Or was that Mick E. Fynn?! I asked Terry when I saw the name on a pub across the street from the old Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.

Was he a hockey player when Terry was a child - well known enough to have his parents name their cats after him?

I googled the name..

Unfortunately google didn't help me solve this mystery... The only Mick E. Fynn I came across online was this Toronto tavern.
