Last Saturday I discovered another craft fair - a Christmas market held annually in the village of Cumberland, Ontario.
It's so large - with over 80 vendors - that it is divided into four location.
We visited three. Our favorite was the church hall location, where we purchased jam from a woman whose dairy farmer husband was now - in retirement - a water color artist.
Another location was the old corner store.
The previous week's snow had all melted, and the weather was mild, so it was a perfect day for walking around, discovering a village I had driven past many times but had never been into.
