Summer is my gardening season, but a few days of welcome rain made me bring out my quilting scraps.
I recently saw a simple quilt pattern online that looked like a "stash breaker."
I loved the freshness of the yellow, orange and white colors.
But the "stash" in my scrap bins has lots of blues and reds... Maybe I could use up those....
The quilt in the picture has nine rows of nine colored squares... Eighty-one squares would take a while to create...
I'll cut the strips and work on those first...
Maybe by winter, I'll have a head start on some simple squares...
An interesting project for a rainy day.
