My 94-year-old mother has had a lot of visitors this past summer - relatives who have come from afar to see her:
My 90-year-old aunt and her daughter from Alberta...
My mother's younger brother and his wife from BC...
I was worried: When they saw how much she had changed - from walking to a wheelchair, from seeing to limited sight.
Would they blame me (instead of "Father Time") for not adequately caring for her?
I was relieved when all mentioned how happy she was.
She lives in the present, my younger aunt commented, then added: There's a lesson for all of us in that!
