Great Burgers

On a recent trip to Toronto, we decided to visit The Burger's Priest - touted to serve the best burgers in Toronto. Their only downfall, we discovered on their website, was the fact that they serve take-out only. Where would we eat?!

On a warm summer's night, eating outdoors would have been an adventure - a picnic, of sorts. But evenings were already cool - and the dark arrived early.

As we stood waiting in line, first to order, then to pick up our burgers, our son noticed that the patrons - most in their 20's - arrived by bus, but rushed home in taxis, before the food got cold!

We ate our food sitting on the (chilly) steps of an employment agency across the street - then hopped into our car to drive to Ed's, a few blocks away, to chill ourselves more with Terry's favorite ice cream!

How good were the burgers? They were fine. But nothing special (in my opinion)... And I found the bun boring... But then, I'm used to good burgers: Terry's a bit of a burger fanatic - and his home-cooked ones are always delicious!
