My First (Large) Crocheted Afghan

My first large afghan ... was this bed of flowers, large enough to serve as a bedspread for a double bed.














I don't remember how many flowers I had to make or whether I used leftover bits of yarn - or even, for that matter, if I followed a pattern! I suspect it was a winter project.

(Knowing me, it was probably a variation of a pattern I saw!)

I used it for quite a few years, but it looks a little dated now.














Perhaps it will come back in style... Until then, I'll just keep it tucked away...
