
The sound of dynamite breaking up the rock base wakened us many mornings.

How much longer? we have been wondering... (eight months later) Winter is coming! Will they be done before snow plows need to clear the streets...

(Will they be able to do it without damaging the man-holes?)

But this week there are signs of progress: The snow that fell a week or so ago has now melted...

And road crews are busily paving...

So (hopefully) the road will be perfect before the next snowfall!

It feels as if they've been working on this forever!
