Winter Walking... In Hintonburg, Again

Terry and I have been heading to Hintonburg for weekly walks - and for weekly fresh loaves of sourdough bread.

Our latest bakery "find" is this one. It sells not only great bread, but amazing brownies. 

When we come here, we also take time to explore the neighborhood...

Since we can't walk indoors in malls, walking in different neighborhoods has become become our winter exercise... 

Usually, the sidewalks are cleared... and there aren't a lot of people milling about.

There are also interesting sights to see, including outdoor wall art...

I've taken pictures of outdoor murals in Montreal and Toronto.

I'm glad to see paintings brightening old neighborhoods in Ottawa as well...

So many different painting styles... Who creates them? 

How does one get into the business of creating this kind of art?!
