As my current session of classes and studio time draws to a close, I promise myself I must take a break... (It's hard to do! There is always something that remains to be done.)
As I look at these latest objects that I am sending to the kiln (two heads, two bowls, and two bird baths!), I'm thankful I took the step and signed up for that first class - something I wanted to do it since I was in my 20s!
Playing with mud - making vessels and ornaments! Why is it so satisfying?! I really have no answer! It's just a beautiful, primal, fun thing to do!
