
Sometimes in winter I buy a miniature rose plant - to add to my indoor garden. Eventually the roses die - but then, when spring arrives, I transfer the flower-less plant outdoors.

I don't usually have luck with regular roses, but these tiny roses do surprisingly well.
Here are two from previous years...

Yellow tea roses...

And red ones, that are just beginning to bloom.
But I do have to watch that spreading plants don't overwhelm them and choke them out...
