Enjoying St Jacobs

On our last trip to Guelph, we spent a day at St. Jacobs - a quaint village best known for its large farmers market.

We headed to the market first…

It was really busy!

So we drove over to the village, where we walked around.

Signs of quilting were everywhere.

I would have looked for an authentic Mennonite meal…

But one of our daughter’s friends recommended a really good pizza restaurant.

We then wandered over to the river, where we saw a few people fishing.

Like many Ontario towns, St Jacobs was built on a river.

It was getting late, so we reluctantly left the village, feeling there was a lot more left to see… another time!
