The mugs I discovered in an old box (see yesterday’s blog!) included two brownish-beige ones that had possibly been my mother’s.
I like those brown ones, my daughter commented when I showed them to her on FaceTime.
Where were they made?
I turned them over...
I find this hard to believe, I told her... It says: Made in Scotland!!
Checking online, I found pictures of other mugs and ceramics of the same style made by Dinoon Ceramics, Scotland! I wonder where my mother got them? A souvenir from her travels? A gift from a student? I’ll probably never know!
