Going through old photo albums, I came across some pictures of my parents hanging out with our children when they were one, three and five years old...
The park we had come to play (and relax) in was none other than Andrew Haydon Park, where I often come nowadays to walk.
The grass looks brown…
Were we having a dry summer?
In those days, the first place we headed to was the play structure.
Our youngest son (age one) was too small to climb up…
Eventually we’d tear them away from this play area to go walking…
Were there more rocks along the shore then?
Every few years they make some changes. The park was popular with adults and children then. It may be even more popular today!
