My Mother's New Talking Reader

I've come to appreciate my 94-year-old mother's ability to adapt to new challenges.

When her vision deteriorated last summer, she was sad that she could no longer do her Sudoku puzzles. She also missed reading.

Recently she got a new daisy reader - a CD player created for people with impaired vision - and she's absolutely delighted with it. There is no talk of her vision loss - only her enjoyment of being read to!

Nothing like curling up at night with a talking book!
