Our neighorhood is noisier than usual now that we have a construction project across the street.
One especially noisy day, as excavators were chipping rock to create the basement, I suggested a drive to Arnprior!
First stop: our favorite French fry stand... which closes for winter in a few weeks. This will probably be our last visit of the season.
Then onto a large park on the river, where we enjoyed watching a canoeing class in progress.
Is this a gym class outing?!
What a great reason to have school outdoors!
After a while, we headed home - but first Terry wanted to stop at a local farm to buy corn on the cob...
They also sell homemade ice cream...! This one had real raspberries in it...
A perfect end to a day away!
