Terry and I don’t have to go far to encounter wildlife. Squirrels and rabbits appear daily in our yard.
Yesterday we even noticed a groundhog halfway down the block. Fortunately we haven’t seen him in our yard this year. Last spring two groundhog families were living under our backyard sheds... but we managed to get rid of them...
This lone duck was recently taking an evening stroll in our ditch.
We only see ducks during spring nesting season. Perhaps they spend the rest of the summer closer to the river. But once their ducklings can fly, they’re gone!
