Pretty Journal

I keep journals of various kinds, so I'm always on the lookout for pretty books to write in...

I picked this one up a few years ago. I must have been attracted to the pretty flowers on the cover...

And the quotes by woman authors...

Some are fun - like this one by American writer, Mary Little, who was about my father's age. She wrote:

"There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it!"

(To me, that about sums up retirement!)
