Is Summer Half Over?!

For many years, August 1st was the turning point of my summer. Summer - with all its freedom - was now half over! My thoughts would now turn to September and all its commitments.

These days my life doesn't change much in September.

And this year's hot weather - which shows no sign of ending - has given us an abundance of summer. (And apparently there's more to come!) I wouldn't feel cheated if cooler weather were to arrive...

These days, the weather predominates our thoughts: Is it too hot to go for a long walk?

Whenever we do go out, Terry and I are always hunting for shade!

This year, I'm actually looking forward to the cooler weather of fall...!
